Repurpose. Reinvent. Redesign.

Repurpose

What is repurposing?  The art of using things you have but maybe in a different way.  Maybe the bedroom dresser becomes a dining room buffet.  Maybe a dining room chair becomes an office chair.  Maybe a serving piece becomes a planter.  It’s thinking outside the box and being clever with what you already have.

Reinvent

What is reinventing?  The next level of repurposing.  It may mean crafting, painting, or using a little carpentry work to create something new out of something you already own.  It may be the old side table in the corner of the shed that becomes a new night stand.  It may be the old TV cabinet that becomes a new office space.  I love finding the “it” piece for a space and making it new.

Redesign

What is redesign?  Redesign encompasses all aspects of creating your space.  It is repurposing and reinventing along with other design elements to completely transform your space.  It may only use what you have, it may add pieces from other places and it may involve a fresh color scheme.  Your space is transformed into the fresh, cohesive style to fit your life today.
